Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo has delivered a strong critique of the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing the current government as ineffective and failing to meet the expectations of Nigerians.
In a widely circulated video, Obasanjo said poor governance has impacted citizens across all sectors, noting that businesses and livelihoods would have performed better under a more competent leadership.
He acknowledged that every government inherits challenges but faulted the Tinubu administration for what he described as an overreliance on excuses instead of measurable results. According to him, leadership requires confronting difficulties with decisive action rather than attributing shortcomings to inherited problems.
