Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar were among a distinguished group of current and former political leaders, statesmen, and intellectuals who are attending a leadership colloquium honoring former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
The event, taking place at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja, focuses on themes of leadership, democracy, and nation-building.
It is part of a special lecture series that celebrates Tambuwal’s significant contributions to Nigeria’s legislative progress and democratic development.

Other notable attendees include former Senate President and National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Senator David Mark, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio, who was represented by Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro.
Also, former governors attending include Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers), Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti), Aminu Masari (Katsina), Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom), Ibikunle Amosun, and Otunba Gbenga Daniel (both from Ogun), along with former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha.
