Sekoni praised the state government for offering an excellent facility for the competition.

“I want to start by expressing gratitude to the governor for organizing this match. We are just getting our feet wet, so I would rate them at 50 percent. I have faith that we will qualify and advance to the finals.

“The beginning was promising, but as we experienced fatigue, we had to adjust our approach.

“They can’t grasp our strategy. Our upcoming match is against Plateau; our team is determined to leave no stone unturned in order to secure a win,” he remarked.

“We will not back down; I trust that we will win in our next game,” he stated.

In the male division, Team FCT took down Team Kano with a score of 29-20.
