Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar is set to sign a contract extension with Les Parisian that will see him stay in France until 2027.
At 30, the Brazilian as reported by L’Equipe was expected to see off the remaining contract due to elapse on July 1, 2026.
However, Neymar has not called it off in PSG as expected but has startled the soccer pundits by waiting to sign a new contract on July 1, 2022. The Trumpet Gathered

However, with the close of the season where he won the Ligue 1 trophy last month, the player has decided to activate the second, nine days from now, as reported by MundoDeportivo.
Meanwhile reports from Italy revealed that PSG are prepared to offer the Brazilian to Juventus.
According to Footmercato, the 30-year-old offer to the Old Lady which is being given extensive consideration by Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri, as an attacking option, would reduce the wage burden of Parc des Princes.
Neymar’s performance in PSG has continued to slide, with the drop most evident last season. The forward, who recorded 28 goals in 30 appearances in his first season for Parc des Princes, scored less than half last season in 28 appearances.
Although the player last season suffered injury problems on two occasions in Champions League encounters with RB Leipzig and Club Brugge in October and December respectively, PSG is willing to offer Neymar to Juventus.
