“It looks like bags where they keep dead bodies or mangled bodies of human beings. We have done our preliminary investigation and we are going to hand him over to the Nigerian Police.”

Raji asserted that the suspect tried to bribe NDLEA officers who were on duty with the cash he was arrested with, but was rejected by officers and was arrested.

He said NDLEA had completed its preliminary investigation and the suspect would be handed over to Nigeria Police for further investigation.

While reacting, the suspect said he found the bag bearing the arms and ammunition in a hidden bush in one village in Bayelsa State.

He further said he did not return the bag because he felt it would land him problems.
