NBA legend Jason Kidd has joined Everton’s American ownership group, Roundhouse Capital Holdings, part of The Friedkin Group.
Kidd, a double Olympic champion and 10-time NBA All-Star, currently coaches the Dallas Mavericks.
The Texas-based group took over Everton in December 2024.
Kidd adds to the presence of American investors in British football, with 14 Premier League clubs having U.S.
Notable figures like NFL star JJ Watt and quarterback Tom Brady are also involved in British football.
Everton will leave Goodison Park at the end of this season and will move into their new Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium, which is expected to cost over £750 million, before the start of the 2025-26 season.
