AC Milan have formally tendered a bid to Danish topflight club, Midtjylland, for Raphael Onyedika to bolster their midfield before the summer transfer window closes.
The Rossoneri, having lost some of their players during the summer, including Franck Kessie who left to join Barcelona, turned their attention to Onyedika as a replacement to fill the void in the midfield.
According to a report by a transfer expert, Gianluca Di Marzio, last season’s Serie A champions have offered 4 million euros plus add-ons to Midtjylland for the Nigerian midfielder who is believed to be valued at 10 million euros.
Following the discrepancies, both clubs will have to further negotiate to come to terms regarding the player’s future.
Reportedly, Milan are also in search of a replacement for Stefano Pioli, after they lost out on Renato Sanches who switched allegiance to Paris Saint-Germain from LOSC Lille.

Milan are impressed with Onyedika and would want to see the 21-year-old switch allegiance to San Siro this season.
Last season in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers, 59-minute substitute Onyedika scored the vital goal against Celtic in extra time to hand Midtjylland a 2-1 victory.
Aside from that, the talented player who anchors the defensive midfield of the Wolves, scored a brace in the 3-1 win against FC Randers in Danish Superligaen last season at Cepheus Park Randers.
The teenager has greatly improved, moving from the stage of playing with the club’s U19 which precedes his loan spell at FC Fredericia, to establishing himself in the first team where he netted four times in 48 appearances in all competitions last season for the Wolves.
