A resident of Taraba State, Linus Gwazanpu, has begun a 176-kilometre trek from Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State to Yola, the Adamawa State capital as a gesture of solidarity with Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State, following his rdefection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Linus began the journey on Friday, March 20, 2026, and by the end of the first day had already covered about 64 kilometres, arriving at Zing Local Government Area of Taraba State.
