The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed that a woman, simply identified as Gift in her early 40s has been taken into custody for allegedly chopping off the cap of her lover’s penis.
It was gathered that the incident happened at Bishop Okoye Street, Mile 3, Diobu, PortHarcoourt, on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
It was further learnt that trouble started when her male lover whose name was given as Mr. Sunday requested for sex, but Gift refused on the ground that the man is used to taking sex enhancement drugs before making love to her which makes him last for a very long time during intercourse.

Mr. Sunday was said to have resorted to beating Gift, for refusing him sex and in the process she grabbed the man’s penis with her mouth and chopped off the cap.
Sources revealed that neighbours were attracted to the scene by loud scream from Mr. Sunday, while police officers called to the scene rescued Gift from the mob that wanted to lynch her.
Mr. Sunday was rushed to an undisclosed hospital, where he is receiving medical attention.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Grace Iringe Koko, who confirmed the incident, said, “yes I can confirm the incident.
“The woman(suspect) aged 43 years has been arrested. Investigstion is ongoing.”
