Late distribution of materials has delayed commencement of election in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta.
As at 9:56 am materials were yet to be distributed to all the wards in Warri South.
When our reporter got to INEC office in Warri, the materials were yet to be distributed to the agents.
Some people were seen gathered at the premises of the INEC office, complaining about the late distribution of materials.
Deputy Director, INEC, Warri, Mr Kingsley Ogboe, told journalists that the reason for the delay was that most of the party agents did not come on time to monitor the distribution of the materials.

He said they could not distribute the material in the absence of the party agents so that they don’t accuse INEC of bias.
He said, distribution of materials will soon start as most of the party agents they were waiting for, have already arrived.
The distribution of materials began at about 10:30 am.
