A 25 years old lady, simply identified as Elo has reportedly died in a Hotel in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was learned the deceased lady had lodged at the hotel located along the East-West road, close to the popular Agbarha junction of the town, with her married boyfriend after she allegedly lied to her parent that she was traveling to Warri.
A source close to the family said, “Elo told her parents that she was traveling to Warri to visit a relation on August 28, not knowing that she had to meet with her boyfriend who they both lodge in the hotel in Ughelli. Only for us to get a call that she has died.”
The cause of her death could not be ascertained as at press time, but security sources alleged that it was due to hard drugs she took before sex rump with boyfriend.
The security source who confirmed the incident said, a dead lady was reportedly discovered at a hotel in Ughelli and with the information available, she lodge in the hotel with her boyfriend.
“The lady simply identified as Elo, 25, who hails from Ozoro in Isoko north had a party with her friends and got herself drunk with high quality substance.

“Though she lodge in the hotel with her boyfriend who is suspected to be an Internet fraudster and on August 29, she was discovered to be unconscious.
“The boy rushed her to Central Hospital Ughelli and upon arrival, the Doctor certified her dead and the suspected boyfriend was arrested alongside two friends.”the security source revealed.
Further investigation revealed that it was the doctor who called the police having certified that the girl was dead.
It was gathered that the other two friends arrested by the police were victims because they went came to sympathize with their friend who has found himself in a terrible situation but had been released after paying a combined sum of N600,000 as bail amount.
It was also gathered that the boyfriend was a married man.
When contacted, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Edafe Bright did not respond to Whatsapp message sent neither return calls to his phone.
