He noted that he carefully selected the items he distributed to the constituents because of their immense economic value and expressed the hope that their sufferings would be ameliorated through those items.

The lawmaker disclosed that he had some motions and petitions on the floor of the House which within eight months he went to the National Assembly.

“I have also presented a petition against the Army Chief of Staff and the National Security Adviser/Department of State Security (DSS) on behalf of Mr. EmmanuelOfoke (Ochiwar) and the Izzi Lawyers Association speaking for Barr. “My people, this is the account of my eight month’s stewardship and my earnest prayer is that God on my side, I shall achieve these within the stipulated time frame, in actualizing my mission and vision statement.

“Thank you all for your support and for those who have not directly benefitted today, by the grace of God, before the end of the tenure, every member of the Constituency would have directly or indirectly been touched, especially as I am lucky and blessed to have the infrastructural and human capital development Governor who has given me both cover and back up as his representative in the National Assembly; an incredible gesture of His Excellency I am not taking for granted”, he stated.

Governor Francis Nwifuru who was presented during the empowerment programme, commended Uguru for the gesture and urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items.
