The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Imo State Chapter, has rounded off its end of the year’s activities with a high-tech executive meeting.
The meeting, which was held at the party Secretariat in New Owerri, the state capital, was attended by the National Vice Chairman South East Sir Bon Unachukwu.
In his opening remarks, Professor James Okoroma, the State Chairman of the ADC, presented a comprehensive report on the party’s progress since his assumption of office.
He highlighted the party’s achievements in the areas of membership recruitment, party structuring, and grassroots mobilization.
According to him, the party had recorded significant gains in membership recruitment, with a substantial increase in the number of registered members across the state’s 27 local government areas.
He also noted that the party’s structure had been strengthened, with the establishment of new executive committees at the ward, local government, and state levels.

He further highlighted the party’s well thought out programs, which had taken the party’s message to the grassroots, and expressed his gratitude to the party’s leaders, members, and supporters for their unwavering support and commitment to the party’s ideals.
The State Chairman’s report was well received by the attendees, who commended him for a job well done.
The National Vice Chairman South East Sir Bon Unachukwu, in his remarks, praised the Imo State executive for a wonderful performance, noting that the party’s progress in the state was a testament to the leadership of Professor James Okoroma.
He commended the state executive for their innovative approach to party building and their commitment to the party’s ideals.
“I am impressed by the progress we have made in Imo State,” Sir Bon said. “The party’s growth and strength are a credit to the leadership of Professor James Okoroma and the entire state executive. I urge us all to continue to work together to build a stronger party that can deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of Imo State.”

The meeting had in attendance the Southeast Zonal Woman Leader, Barrister Chioma Anyanwu, and all the members of the State Executive Committee.
The meeting provided an opportunity for members to interact and discuss issues affecting the party and the state. The high-tech executive meeting was a fitting end to the year, and a testament to the party’s commitment to progress and development in Imo State.
