Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi will battle the Europa Conference League quarterfinals with PSV British-born Noni Madueke to slug it out in the tie. Leicester City has been drawn with PSV Eindhoven and both teams comprise players of Nigerian descent.
Madueke, an instrumental figure for the Dutch side, will likely be deployed in the attack against Brenda Rogers’ side which has been tipped as one of the favorites to win the tournament aside from Roma. Madueke started his youthful career in Tottenham Hotspur and later moved to the Dutch side PSV in 2018 while rejecting Manchester United’s advances in the process The Trumpet gathered.
Though the youngster has played in England U16, U17, U18, and U19 national teams, scoring 6 goals in 22 appearances, he is still eligible to play for the Nigeria Super Eagles. Leicester City has been fairly impressive in the tournament winning French Rennes 4-3 on aggregate to proceed to the quarterfinals where they are to play a well composed Dutch team that trails Ajax for the Eredivisie title.

The English club also defeated Randers 7-2 on aggregate with Wilfred Ndidi opening the scoring in 23 minutes against the Danish Superliga side.
The Europa Conference League quarter-finals clashes are slated for April 7 for the first leg while the second leg takes place on April 14.
