ICPC declares man, 48, wanted over impersonation, fraud

The Independent Corrupt and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has declared a 48-year-old man, Wasiu Adewale Azeez, wanted for corrupt practices bordering on impersonation and defrauding of unsuspecting members of the public.

According to a public notice signed by the Spokesperson for the anti-graft agency, Mrs Azuka C. Ogugua, the wanted man, Azeez, is an indigene of Offa LGA, Kwara State.

Mrs Ogugua appealed to members of the general public with useful information about his whereabouts should report to any of the ICPC offices nationwide or the nearest police station.

She said, “The person whose picture appears here, Wasiu Adewale Azeez is hereby declared wanted by the Independent Corrupt and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) in connection with issues bordering on impersonation and defrauding unsuspecting members of the public of different sums of monies.

“Mr Azeez was born on 30th April 1974 (48 years old) and is an indigene of Offa LGA, Kwara State.

“Anyone who has useful information about his whereabouts should report to ICPC Headquarters Abuja, any of the ICPC State Offices, or the nearest police station, or call ICPC Toll-Free lines: 08031230280, 08031230281, 08031230282, 07056990190, 07056990191, and 080-CALL-ICPC (0800-2255-4272),” the statement said.
