Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate and Delta state All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has said he has a well-thought-out plan to transform Delta but will not reveal all, so as not to give his major opposition, the Peoples’Democratic Party (PDP) a clue of what he will do.

Omo-Agege stated this on Wednesday when his ward-to-ward governorship campaign train visited all the wards in Udu Local Government area of the state.

According to Omo-Agege, “what a man wants to do is in his heart, it is not wise to reveal everything so that our opposition will not know the plans we have for them.”

RevealThe governorship candidate who was flanked by the Deputy Governorship candidate of the party Hon. Friday Osanebi, the state chairman of APC, Omene Sobotie, Delta Central Senatorial candidate of the party, Chief Ede Dafinone and others, said the APC had already constituted a formidable team and was in a hurry to rescue Delta state from the Okowa-led PDP bad governance.

He disclosed that his administration will give out forty percent political appointments to women and youths, adding that it was the reason behind the selection of a youth as his running mate.

Omo-Agege assured the people of Udu of massive development that will complement what he has done and still doing as a Senator representing the area.

“You know, in Delta Central, you have never returned anyone back to the Senate, but I pleaded with you and you sent me back. And because of what you did, Nigerians joined and chose me as the Deputy President of the Senate.

“Today you all can testify of what I have done, not only in Udu but across Delta Central. There are many things we want to do but as a legislator but we are limited. But if I have the executive powers as a governor, we will do most of those things we want to do.”

Speaking further, Omo-Agege called on the People of Udu to vote for all candidates of the APC in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Also speaking at the campaign, Delta State Chairman of the APC, Chief Omene Sobotie accused the Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and the PDP of parading ‘Jagudas’ for elective offices.

He said, a person with virtues like Okowa does not deserve to be the Vice President of the country and would be rejected by Deltans and Nigerians.

He also drummed support for all the candidates of the party in the forthcoming 2023 general election, saying the APC was on a rescue mission to liberate Delta state from the dark rule of Okowa and PDP.
