Minister of State, Labour and Employment, Olorogun Festus Keyamo SAN, who doubles as the spokesperson of the APC 2023 Presidential Campaign Council, has said the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu, when elected in 2023 would employ additional tools and tactics in dealing with emerging security threats of banditry and kidnapping among others.
Keyamo stated this Saturday night in a statement shared on his Twitter handle, stressing that Tinubu as president would compliment the efforts of the current administration to eradicate all threats.
The APC Presidential Campaign spokesperson said the statement was necessary to put purveyors of fake news and rumours out of business as the general elections approach.
He praised the President Muhammadu Buhari administration for its infrastructural development, rail advancement and agriculture revolutions, saying that the president has done exceedingly well.
According to him, there is a significant improvement in herders and farmers’ clashes and terrorism bedeviling some parts of the current.
“There’re areas where PMB’s Govt has done exceedingly well: infrastructure, rail, agriculture, etc. Our @officialABAT (Bola Ahmed Tinubu) will continue with those revolutionary strides but also seek to improve on them
“There’re areas of security challenges that have improved significantly, e.g farmers-herders’ clashes, North-East insurgency, etc; Tinubu will review these situations & employ additional strategies to maintain the momentum & consolidate the gains achieved in these areas
“As for new areas of security challenges, e.g banditry and kidnappings in the N/West, Tinubu is prepared to employ additional tools and tactics to compliment the present work in progress in order to totally eradicate them if Nigerians graciously give him their mandate,” Keyamo stated.
