Lagos female handball team, Seasiders Babes, have recorded another defeat in Tuesday’s fixture with Bendel Dynamos Rebranded in the on-going Prudent Energy Handball Premier League at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.
The final result of the fixture saw Bendel Dynamos Rebranded of Benin beating the Lagos side, who inarguably were unable to utilise their goal-bound opportunities, 22-19.
According to the captain of the Seasiders Babes, Olabisi Oyewusi, the team hope to improve on their poor form going forward.
Oyewusi stressed that following their second loss after Monday’s, they will ensure the remaining seven fixtures, by commitment and determination, record a winning spree.
“We want to play the remaining seven matches with commitment and determination and will remain focused on this. We are not going to let what happened on Monday and today (Tuesday) continue. We’ll regroup and return by winning,” she told the News Agency Nigeria after the loss
“My teammates didn’t impress me today. Our game on Monday was better in terms of performance and skills displayed,” Oyewusi lamented.

The Seasiders Babes’ captain applauded the opponent’s techniques which she conceded resulting in their win.
She said, “Though it was a tight game against Bendel Dynamos Rebranded, they were better with their handling of the ball than my team, and they won.
“I am saddened by my team’s performance so far. This is our second loss in the league, but we will go back and reboot our skills and tactics for our next matches. We are coming out back to our old ways of winning,” the demoralised Oyewusi boasted.
She continued: “We are going to be among one of the four best teams in the tournament. I believe that we will win the matches and lift the trophy.
