Over 3,000 students have been officially matriculated into various academic programmes at the Federal University Wukari, marking the commencement of the 2024/2025 academic session.
The matriculation ceremony, held at the Geoffrey Okogba Lecture Theatre in Wukari, Taraba State, signified the culmination of the enrollment process for the new intakes.
Addressing the students, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Jude Rabo Sammani, described the event as a significant milestone in his tenure.
He noted that it was the fifth matriculation exercise under his leadership as the university’s third Vice Chancellor and his final one as he prepares to complete his term in office.
Professor Sammani emphasized that the newly admitted students were selected strictly on merit and in accordance with the institution’s admission quota.
He congratulated them on embarking on their academic journey and urged them to seize the opportunity to excel.
