The management of Enterprise Valley an Akwa Ibom indigenous company with branches across some states in Nigeria has said that it is ready to establish a Real Estate Academy in the state to train young professionals in the estate business.
Addressing a press conference in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state capital on Tuesday, the board chairman of the company Gideon Ekanem said the Academy will be unveiled on Saturday 24th April, 2024 with registration of students to kick off the programme.
Ekanem who was accompanied by other Directors of the company explained that the Academy would run three months of training for intending estate businessmen adding such knowledge acquired would improve the income of youths and generate employment.
” We all know what is happening in Nigeria today within the economy. Real Estate business does not require capital to start.
” Real Estate has no entry barrier into the business. It doesn’t interfere with whatever you are doing. It is another stream of income.
” We will train people to change the general perception of that real estate deals only on buying and selling of property”
Ekanem disclosed that the Real Estate Academy will among other advantages provide real estate knowledge to the students and teach them in-depth issues about the industry.
He said a partnership deal has been established with the state government and organized private sector to ensure a standard Academy.

” It is open to everybody even without capital to start the business. This will bring almost all the unemployed people. They will generate income and stay afloat in their self-employment.
Ekanem observed that real estate has a multiple value chain around the business as it will provide more opportunities.
” The Academy will train many people on how to harness these opportunities. Job creation is an integral part of the real estate business
” Our target audience for the Academy are those are people those people who want to invest, partner and learn.
” It is open to all persons who are ready to learn and make money. It will complement the needs of the government in the housing sector” he said.
