The appointment of Caleb as Energy Commissioner comes shortly after the state government’s recent move to strengthen its electricity regulatory framework. Fintiri had earlier sought the confirmation of nominees for the newly established Adamawa State Electricity Regulatory Commission, which is intended to provide a framework for electricity generation, transmission and distribution in the state.
