Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has launched the skill-to-wealth scheme, as part of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The skill-to-wealth scheme according to the minister during the launch in Lagos, aims to provide and empower Nigerians with practical skills in areas such as agribusiness, solar energy installation, and automotive repair.
The training lasts for three weeks and comes with starter kits, being rolled out throughout all six geopolitical areas of Nigeria, established through robust partnerships with the NBTE and the ministries of agriculture, trade, industry and investment, as well as the Digital Bridge Institute.

The objective of the Renewed Hope Agenda is to transition individuals from mere learning to actual earning and from latent potential to true prosperity.
The skill-to-wealth scheme will focus on topics including agriculture, which encompasses both production and processing, renewable energy with a spotlight on solar installation, and automotive mechanics.
