The Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC), Prof. Tunji Olaopa, has assured shortlisted candidates in the ongoing federal recruitment exercise that a Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted soon.
Olaopa gave the assurance in a statement issued, dismissing reports circulating online that the CBT had been cancelled.

According to the FCSC chairman, the claims are false and misleading, emphasizing that the commission remains committed to completing the recruitment process in a transparent and orderly manner.
He explained that preparations for the CBT are already underway and that the exercise will be conducted once the necessary resources have been made available.

The chairman urged all shortlisted candidates to disregard the rumours and remain patient, assuring them that the commission would communicate officially when arrangements for the examination have been finalized.
Prof. Olaopa also advised applicants to rely only on information released through official channels of the commission to avoid being misled by unverified reports.
The Federal Civil Service Commission is currently conducting a recruitment exercise aimed at filling vacancies across various cadres in the federal civil service.
