Former president of Ijaw Youths Council (IYC) Worldwide,Udengs Eradiri, on Saturday led the Door-to-Door Campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to monitor the presidential primary election in his ward declaring that the reelection of the President is not negotiable.

Eradiri, who represented the Door-to-Door campaign founded by High Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo, addressed crowd of APC members that came out to participate in the primary election at his Ward 10, Agudama-Ekpetiama, Yenagoa Local Government Area,

Eradiri said that all efforts by the opposition to abridge Tinubu’s tenure were dead on arrival.

He appraised the bold economic reforms of the President saying their benefits had started trickling down to the grassroots.

Eradiri, a former President of the Ijaw Youths Council (IYC), said another term for Mr President would enable him to completely transform the country and lay a lasting foundation for prosperity.

He said: “In the Door-to-Door Campaign, we firmly believe that the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not negotiable. Everything the opposition is doing against this President is dead on arrival”.

Eradiri said the presidential primary election and the crowd of party members that came to participate in the exercise was a testament of the love the president enjoyed at the grassroots and spoke volume about the internal democracy in the APC.

He said from the first primary election to the presidential primary poll, the APC had demonstrated its readiness for leadership and preparedness to win the 2027 election.

Eradiri, a former Commissioner for Youths and later Environment in Bayelsa said the APC through its actions had shown that it was not underestimating the strength of the opposition.

But he said his party would not lose sleep over the activities of the opposition parties particularly the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) because none of their presidential aspirants could defeat President Tinubu.

He said: “President Tinubu is tested and trusted and has shown the capacity and competence to take tough decisions necessary to turn around the fortunes of the country.

“You can see the growing organic support for the president because people know the truth despite the lies others peddle against the President. They have also seen that there is no better alternative to President Tinubu.

“Today is a testimony of the good work the president is doing. Even though we have a lot of qualified and competent persons in the party, none of them decided to participate in the process because they beleive. that this president is doing well and must get the second term.”

The Chairman of APC in Yenagoa Local Government Area, Zikenah Tunks Coker, also expressed confidence in the party’s chances in the 2027 election, saying the APC remained focused despite the presence of opposition parties.

“Well, of course, we have an opposition. It is not a one-party system. But it is our duty as supporters of the party, APC, to ensure that APC comes victorious in Bayelsa State and in Yenagoa Local Government,” he said.
