Manchester United are on the brink of signing Ajax coach, Erik Ten Hag, after an agreement has been reached with the Dutch.
Though United have refuted the reports emerging from the Netherlands, sources said Ten Hag has agreed to a three years contract with an option of an additional year if he performs satisfactorily.
According to BBC, the Dutch coach who still has a contract with Ajax will join United officially after Ajax’s Dutch Cup final against PSV Eindhoven on Sunday.
The 52 years old who takes over from Ralf Rangnick, United interim manager, becomes the 5th manager to manage the Red Devils after Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013.
Another name that has also been linked with the United job is Paris Saint-Germain manager, Mauricio Pochettino The Trumpet gathered.
Ajax, four points ahead of PSV, presently tops the table of Eredivisie with five games left to complete the 2021-22 season.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have had slip-ups that threaten its survival for a champions league football next season.
The Red Devils in the last five games, recorded only one win while struggling to leapfrog Westham, Arsenal, and Tottenham to occupy top-four positions.
However, with many big-name players either out of contracts, such as Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard, or facing uncertain futures, like Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford, it promises to be a summer of upheaval at Old Trafford.
