Eintracht Frankfurt have completed the signing of Belgium international Michy Batshuayi from Galatasaray in a deal worth up to €3.5 million ($3.62 million). The Bundesliga club will pay an initial €3 million, with an additional €500,000 in potential bonuses based on performance-related conditions, according to Galatasaray’s statement on Monday.
Batshuayi, a proven goal scorer with experience across Europe’s top leagues, brings a wealth of attacking firepower to Frankfurt. Having played in the Bundesliga before during a loan spell at Borussia Dortmund, the 31-year-old is no stranger to German football. Frankfurt’s board member for sport, Markus Krösche, hailed Batshuayi’s arrival, emphasizing his scoring ability, physicality, and battle-hardened experience.

The Belgian forward has earned 56 caps for his national team and built an impressive résumé with stints at Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Valencia, and Besiktas before joining Galatasaray last year. During his time in the Turkish Super Lig, Batshuayi netted five goals in 18 league appearances this season.
His signing comes as Eintracht Frankfurt seek to reinforce their attacking options following the departure of top scorer Omar Marmoush, who completed a high-profile move to Manchester City last month. With Frankfurt aiming to stay competitive in the Bundesliga and push for European qualification, Batshuayi’s arrival is expected to add much-needed firepower to their frontline.
As the Bundesliga season heats up, all eyes will be on Batshuayi to see if he can replicate his past scoring form and make an immediate impact in Frankfurt’s quest for success.
