Dortmund Erling Haaland has been a subject of a transfer to some big European clubs ready to bolster their teams ahead of next season’s campaign.
Despite the Dortmund striker’s contract expiring until 2024, there is a buyout clause of about €75million to trigger his release from the German club The Trumpet gathered.
Manchester City, and the two Spanish clubs, Real Madrid and Barcelona, have all met with the striker to discuss contractual terms but the striker will have to choose which club he prefers to ply his trade with if he is to leave Germany.
With Bayern Munich which had earlier indicated an interest in the player now out of the equation, the three frontline clubs have invariably presented their projects to Haaland to assure him of his key role if he accepts their offers.
The 21 years old Norwegian prefers Real Madrid but City is putting more pressure on the player to come to England. They have told him to spend some time in England because he still has age on his side and could play for Real Madrid in the future.

City went further to advise the player to consider the move to Spain where he would have stiff competition with
a prospective Real Madrid player, Kylian Mbappe, who is believed to be on his way to the Bernabeu in the summer.
The England club also wrote off Barcelona in the pursuit of Haaland because they have declined in the ranking of contenders for major titles.
Haaland will have to make his decision soon as these clubs await earnestly but if the player who signed for Borussia Dortmund in 2020 from Red Bull Salzburg prefers to stay in Germany for another year, then a move to Madrid in the subsequent year is concluded.
