Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has shared her recent experience following her arrest, claiming that her househelp agent was used to track her down after she publicly called out her alleged ex-lover, Pastor Chris Okafor, for betrayal in their relationship.
In an Instagram post, she linked the incident to her ongoing conflict with the pastor, who recently got married, which has generated significant buzz online.
Doris explained that the trouble started with a domestic staff agent who had reportedly been extorting her for several months, providing her with three different househelps over a span of four months.
“I just found out this December that she was extorting me, and we had a disagreement. I ended up asking her to leave my home,” she stated.
A day or two before her arrest, the househelp allegedly became nervous and insisted on departing.
Doris mentioned that the agent was aware of her social media dispute with Pastor Chris and supposedly contacted him regarding the matter.

She questioned why a domestic issue would lead to a full house search. “If it was just a domestic matter, why would they come with a search warrant to search my home? All they found were cigarettes,” she remarked.
Doris stated that she was taken to the Force CID, held overnight in a secluded room, and denied access to her phone as if she were a criminal.
Her post has elicited numerous reactions online. One person responded saying “the Nigerian system is corrupt… Wow.” Another added: “You’ve done well by sharing your truth. May God vindicate you.”
