A baby bearing an uncanny resemblance to Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has set Nigerian social media ablaze, sparking laughter, disbelief, and an outpouring of affection from fans across TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.

The baby’s round cheeks, bright eyes, and signature pout struck netizens as near-identical to Etiko’s, leading many to joke that “God mistakenly gave Destiny’s baby to another mother.” The photos and clips quickly trended under hashtags #DestinyEtikoBaby, #DramaDoll, and #MiniDestiny, amassing millions of engagements.

It all began with a few casual family pictures posted online. Within hours, users began creating side-by-side collages of the actress and the baby, turning the resemblance into a nationwide talking point. “The baby really look like Destiny Etiko ooh chai,” one X user wrote.

Celebrities soon joined in the fun.

“Resemblance na water! This one na Drama Princess XR,” joked comedian Broda Shaggi.
“Our child is here,” added Funke Akindele, while actor Emeka Okoye playfully remarked, “Sow a seed in that child’s life, these are signs of good fortune.”

A TikTok creator, @francebillionaire1, even demanded a “DNA test,” joking that “if na man, una go don drag am tire.”

Destiny Etiko Responds with Laughter and Love

Eventually, the “WorldWide Drama Doll” herself joined the conversation. In a video shared on Instagram, Destiny Etiko laughed heartily while viewing the viral photos.

Her humorous response melted hearts, but she didn’t stop there. It has also been reported that the actress later met the baby and her mother, turning what began as comedy into a touching real-life moment.

What started as online banter evolved into a heartwarming act of generosity. Fans flooded social media with admiration, calling Etiko’s gesture “a lesson in kindness” and “the perfect Nollywood ending.”
