The Delta State government has commenced the disbursement of the 2025 scholarship awards to children of deceased civil servants and students living with disabilities across the state.
The Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board, in a statement signed by its Executive Secretary, Godfrey Enita, said the exercise followed the approval of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

The board explained that the scholarship scheme is designed to support children of deceased civil servants as well as students with disabilities in their academic pursuits, in line with the state government’s commitment to inclusive education and social welfare.
