CorpsAfrica has called for applications from young Africans interested in volunteering for an allowance-based corps to enhance their community service experience.
CorpsAfrica recruits and places ambitious young Africans in rural, underserved communities within their own countries.
The goal is to enable them to apply their education, develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and step beyond their comfort zones to gain insights about their countries and themselves.
CorpsAfrica Volunteers facilitate small-scale, high-impact projects that are identified by local community members to address key needs.
The effectiveness and success of these projects can be meticulously measured.
CorpsAfrica Volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and fields of study, including agriculture, gender issues, health, education, water and sanitation, environment, business, engineering, peace studies, and language studies, among others.
All volunteers must possess a college degree or equivalent experience, and many have prior experience in the social sector, especially in designing, implementing, and monitoring projects.

These skills are taught as part of CorpsAfrica’s comprehensive training program.
