Nollywood actor Charles Okocha has reacted to claims by controversial singer Portable that he bit him during their recently held celebrity boxing match in Lagos.

The two entertainers faced off in a much-anticipated boxing bout that ended in dramatic fashion after Portable reportedly left the ring during the contest.

Following the match, Portable alleged that Okocha had bitten him on the back, adding another layer of controversy to the already heated encounter.

However, Okocha has dismissed the allegation, insisting that it would have been impossible for him to bite the singer because he had a mouthguard on throughout the fight.

In a video shared online, the actor appeared to make light of the accusation while strongly denying that he bit Portable.

According to Okocha, he would rather “chew grass” than bite the singer, joking that he had no desire to come into contact with rabies.

“Portable has been going around telling people I bit him on the back. But I was wearing a mouthguard—how is that even possible?

“I’d rather chew grass than bite him. I don’t want to catch rabies. Have you seen Portable’s skin? Hell no. I wouldn’t even try that,” he said.

The latest exchange comes amid the continued banter between the two entertainers following their celebrity boxing match.

While Okocha was declared the winner after Portable exited the ring, the contest has continued to generate reactions online, with both entertainers trading comments over what transpired during the bout.

Okocha’s latest response has now added another humorous twist to the drama, as fans continue to debate the controversial moments from the celebrity fight.
