Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti remains calm amid concerns about Vinicius Jr’s form, assuring fans that the Brazilian star will bounce back soon. Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Ancelotti addressed a flood of questions surrounding Vinicius’ underwhelming performances for both Real Madrid and Brazil, but expressed no alarm.
Ancelotti admitted that Vinicius is not currently at his best but emphasized the need for patience and support. “He’s not at his best, but he’s still very important for us,” Ancelotti said ahead of their LaLiga showdown with Real Sociedad on Saturday. “We’re in no hurry because the team has managed to score, and he’s been important. The last concern for me is Vinicius’ condition, but we have to take good care of him.”
Vinicius has faced criticism for his slow start to the season and a lackluster international break, where Brazil struggled with a narrow win over Ecuador and a surprising loss to Paraguay.
However, Ancelotti remains confident that the talented forward will regain his top form soon. “He always works well, and it’s just a matter of time before he reaches his best level,” Ancelotti reassured. “We can’t expect every player to be at 100% all the time.”

When asked about Vinicius’ issues with Brazil, Ancelotti chose not to delve into details, instead focusing on his star’s history of success with Madrid. “What I see is a more general issue with Brazil as a team,” he said. “Here at Madrid, we are delighted with Vinicius. No one can forget that with Vini, we’ve won two Champions League titles. We must show him the love and support he deserves.”
Ancelotti also mentioned the need to assess the fitness of Vinicius, along with his Brazil teammates Rodrygo and Endrick, following their international duties. With a jam-packed schedule ahead, including seven matches in the next three weeks, Real Madrid will be cautious to avoid injuries as they navigate the demanding fixtures.
As Real Madrid prepares for their next match, fans are eagerly awaiting Vinicius’ return to his dazzling best on the pitch. Could his resurgence be just around the corner? Time will tell.
