Burnley has acquired England defender Kyle Walker from Manchester City for a fee that could reach £5 million.
Walker becomes Burnley’s fifth signing as they gear up for their return to the Premier League.
The right-back underwent his medical on Friday and has signed a two-year deal with the Clarets.
At 35 years old, he will reunite with head coach Scott Parker, with whom he played for two seasons at Tottenham Hotspur.
“I’m thrilled to be here,” Walker stated on Burnley’s website.
“I’m eager to bring my experience and skills to what appears to be an exciting team.
“After discussing his plans for next season, I knew I had to seize this opportunity. He has done a fantastic job in leading the club back to the Premier League.”

Walker made 15 appearances for City in the first half of last season before moving on loan to AC Milan in January, but the Italian club chose not to make the transfer permanent.
During his time at the Etihad Stadium, he won 17 trophies and was part of the squad that achieved the Treble in 2023.
Starting his career at Sheffield United, Walker joined City in the summer of 2017 for an initial fee of £45 million and made 319 appearances for the club.
Burnley returned to the Premier League last season after being relegated in 2024.
The Clarets creatively announced Walker’s signing on X by featuring a clip from pop star Lionel Richie’s music video for his song ‘Hello.’
Walker is the fifth addition of the summer, following defender Axel Tuanzebe, left-back Quilindschy Hartman, goalkeeper Max Weiss, and French winger Loum Tchaouna.
