Nigerian music star Burna Boy has broken his silence over the reported altercation involving DJ Tunez, while also taking a swipe at fellow superstar Wizkid.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session, Burna Boy dismissed widespread claims that several members of his team attacked DJ Tunez. According to him, he was the only one involved in the incident and described it as minimal.
In his words, the Grammy-winning artist said only “two slaps” were exchanged, stressing that no group assault took place and that he had even warned others not to get involved.
Burna Boy also expressed disappointment in Wizkid’s reaction, noting that he expected a more direct or private approach rather than what he described as indirect responses on social media.

He suggested that the response he anticipated never came, adding that he believed things would escalate beyond online exchanges.
Taking things further, Burna Boy mocked Wizkid’s influence, implying that it exists mostly on the internet rather than in real-life situations. He questioned the purpose of the online reaction, saying it made the situation feel like a waste of time.
“No be 10 people touch DJ Tunez, na only me and na only two slaps I give am. I swear with my mama, if I dey lie, make Ogun carry my mama go anywhere wey Wizkid’s mama dey. He comes go dey tweet, I think say he go send squad, na internet their own power dey. We na real life our own power dey.
“I tell people, make them no touch am. Na only me touch am. If say 10 people touch am, na so him go dey? I even think say him go call their oga, their oga wey go do something. But na tweet him oga come dey tweet. So what was the point, that means I don waste my time….”
