Explosion has reportedly gutted NNPC Petroleum pipeline at Isale Odo, LASU Road, Egbeda, Baruwa, Alimosho, Lagos State.
The raging fire, which started in the early hours of Friday does not pose any threat to human lives.
Men of NNPC, security, fire fighters and NSCDC are already at the scene to salvage the situation.
According to eyewitness report, an electric cable collapse led to electric sparks all over the area which got to the spilled content of PMS around the area and led to the pipeline gutting fire and subsequently exploded at Isale Odo, LASU Road, Egbeda, Alimosho area.

Activities of pipeline vandals are prominent in the area, which has consistently posed as a threat to lives and properties.
The Director, Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Mrs Adeseye Margret, confirmed the incident as of 8.30 am.
She said, “We are aware and on top of the situation at Baruwa pipeline fire explosion.”
Adeseye, who could not state the actual cause of the explosion, said proper investigation by the Service will reveal the cause(s) and remedial action will be carried out.
