Drama ensued on Thursday at the inauguration of Prof Chukwuma Soludo as the governor of Anambra when wife of outgoing Gov. Willie Obiano, Ebelechukwu, slapped Mrs Bianca Ojukwu at the event.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) correspondent who was at the scene of the event reports that the incident occurred immediately after Soludo took his oath of office.

The action drew the attention of security agents and some personalities who pulled Mrs Obiano off the hold of Bianca who was visibly shocked at the action, The Trumpet gathered.

Mrs Obiano was later taken away and shortly afterwards, her husband left the venue since the incident happened after the new governor had been sworn in.

Why Bianca Slapped Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano

Aanother account said Mrs. Odumegwu-Ojukwu started the fight when she allegedly slapped Mrs. Obiano.

A fight which broke out at the venue of the swearing in ceremony of Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo this morning when Iyom Bianca Odimegwu Ojukwu slapped the out gone First Lady of Anambra, Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano.

AIF Media reporter at the venue said, the fight started when Mrs Obiano who came late to the occasion was going round to greet the dignitaries. On getting to where Bianca sat, she said. “Bianca so you are here, I thought you said you will never attend any APGA event again.”

Ojukwu’s wife who was provoked by that silly remark stood up quickly and gave her a dirty slap and dragged her wig off her head.

This caused disruption to the oath of office being taken by Prof Charles Soludo who was signing some documents as at the time of the slap.
