Barcelona have demonstrated their frustration over the revelation of President Joan Laporta’s meeting with Erling Haaland in Germany over a possible switch to Catalonia in the summer.
Laporta had this week met secretly with the highly courted Borussia Dortmund striker in Munich.

However, the club were surprised to read stories in the media about the covertly held meeting with Haaland who is also being courted by Real Madrid and Manchester City.
In its reaction, Barcelona stated that certain issues need to be handled with diplomacy.
The Spanish club added that though the situation as this happens, Barcelona must be wary of the effect it may cause.
According to a report by RCC1, the marketing vice president of the club Juji Guiu said: “There are some things that should be handled with discretion, but these kinds of things happen at this club.
It was rumoured that President Laporta had earlier travelled to France to meet with the player’s agent, Mino Raiola, to foster a relationship that will help finalise a deal ahead of time.
Barcelona is keen to land the Norwegian to the club. They believe he will help push the club, presently fourth on the league table with a game at hand against 14th placed Elche, to the top tier by next season.
