Baptist pastor, 3 daughters kidnapped by bandits in Kaduna

A Baptist pastor, Daniel Bagama, along with his three daughters, has been kidnapped by bandits in Tudun Bussa village, located in the Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Reports indicate that the assailants invaded the village, firing shots indiscriminately before making their way to the pastor’s home, where they took the victims away to an unknown location.

Rev. Ishaya Adamu Jangado, the President of the Kaduna Baptist Conference, shared this information in a letter addressed to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

In the letter, he stated: “I am writing to inform you that bandits have kidnapped Pastor Daniel Bagama and his three daughters in Tudun Bussa village, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.”

The incident reportedly took place late on Sunday night, January 18, 2026, around 11 PM, when the attackers descended upon Tudun Bussa village and seized the victims.

Rev. Caleb Ma’aji Bawa, the Kaduna State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, has also confirmed the kidnapping of the pastor and his daughters.
