Sokoto State Governor and presidential aspirant on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, at the weekend, said the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, will collapse if he emerges the presidential standard-bearer of the opposition political grouping.
Tambuwal made this known while addressing stakeholders and delegates of the PDP in Ebonyi State during his consultation visit. He lamented that the APC government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has increased Nigeria’s problem to a greater percentage.
According to him: “By the grace of God, come May 29, 2023, PDP will take over the government house of Ebonyi State and the Aso-Rock Villa in Abuja. “We want to win the election, and as such, we must remain united in Ebonyi and in Nigeria at large. “We must nominate a candidate that knows the way.
A candidate that has the capacity, competency and the credibility to win election along with other leaders and members of the party in Ebonyi and in Nigeria in general.

“We need a president that understands the executives and will not be doing trial and error because we have no time, this is because the problems in Nigeria are too many, that the president must start work on May 30, 2023. “We need a president that has good character and temperament, that will be able to unite all Nigerians.
The South East has been clamouring for the presidency of this country and it is the right thing to do,” he stated.
Earlier in his remark, the PDP chairman in Ebonyi State, Barr. Silas Onu, assured that the delegates from the state will vote wisely, and will support any presidential aspirant that has good character and temperament to unite party members and Nigerians in general.
He lamented that there is increased hunger, suffering among citizens and threats to lives of PDP members in the state, allegedly orchestrated by the APC government in Ebonyi State led by David Umahi.
