Governor Muhammadu Yahaya of Gombe State has reaffirmed the strength and unity of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, expressing confidence that the party is fully prepared to secure victory for President Bola Tinubu and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.

Gov. Yahaya made the declaration shortly after participating in the APC governorship primary election at his Jekadafari Ward in Gombe Local Government Area.

Speaking to journalists after casting his vote, the governor commended the peaceful and orderly conduct of the exercise across the state, describing the turnout of party members as impressive and encouraging.

He urged APC members to remain steadfast and united, emphasizing that Gombe State remains a stronghold of the ruling party with the capacity to deliver landslide victories at all levels in the forthcoming elections.

“As far as I am concerned, I have said it before and I will say it again, there is no victor and no vanquished in the primary elections. We all belong to the same family.

“What remains for us now is to consolidate on our gains and prepare adequately for the general elections,” the governor stated.

He expressed optimism that the APC in Gombe State would deliver a convincing electoral margin for Tinubu, the party’s governorship candidate, and all other APC candidates contesting elective positions in 2027.

According to him, unity among party members remains critical to sustaining development and moving Gombe State forward.

Earlier, the Chairman of the APC Governorship Primary Election Committee in the state, Senator Sani Danladi, expressed satisfaction with the peaceful and transparent conduct of the exercise, noting the impressive turnout of party members across the state.
