Tumininu has spoken out amid the controversy surrounding her troubled marriage to Big Brother Naija star Angel Smith, releasing a detailed statement to present her side of the unfolding situation.
In a lengthy and emotional statement, Tumininu laid out her side of the story, accusing the reality star of betrayal, reckless behavior, and taking advantage of her generosity.
According to her, she was the one who brought Angel to the United States, footing the bills for her visa and relocation.
She also claimed she took full responsibility for Angel’s welfare in the early days, handling finances, cooking, and ensuring she was comfortable, but things allegedly went south quickly.
Tumininu claimed that instead of building their relationship, Angel began going out with people she met on a dating site, leaving her at home, only to return and still expect financial support.
“For three months, I supported her completely… but she kept leaving to meet people from a dating site,” she alleged.
The situation, she said, escalated into something more troubling, forcing her to involve Angel’s mother at some point.
She also revealed that they rushed into marriage due to immigration issues, hinting that it was done to help Angel remain in the country legally.

Tumininu further accused Angel of keeping questionable company, including someone she described as an ex-convict, and ignoring multiple attempts to set boundaries.
“I felt disrespected and used, like a maid in my own home,” she said.
Despite warnings from friends, she claimed she tried to make the marriage work, until she reached her breaking point.
Tumininu confirmed she has issued divorce papers and is stepping away completely, stressing that she will no longer be responsible for anything concerning Angel’s life.
She also addressed rumors about personal belongings, insisting she didn’t take anything and that some of Angel’s items are still with her, including a wedding ring allegedly left behind.
Angel Smith and her partner, Tumininu, had a private yet stylish wedding in the United States in March 2026, following an earlier civil marriage reportedly completed in Texas in January.
The ceremony was intimate, attended by close friends, and featured a striking all-black theme that set it apart from traditional weddings.
