The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) organizers have announced that the nominees for the 2026 edition of this esteemed African film and television awards will be revealed on Sunday, March 29, 2026.
The announcement will be broadcast live on Africa Magic channels starting at 7 p.m. WAT.
Nollywood actor Chimezie Imo will host the nominee reveal, which is expected to attract the attention of filmmakers, actors, and fans throughout the continent.
Now in its 12th year, the AMVCA honors exceptional achievements in African cinema and television, recognizing excellence in acting, directing, writing, and production.
The works eligible for the 2026 awards are those that were screened or released in 2025, and filmmakers and content creators from across Africa are invited to submit their productions.
