AIG decorates Zone 10 PPRO, other promoted senior officers in Sokoto

Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 10 Headquarters Sokoto, AIG Bello Sani Dalijan, has decorated some senior officers promoted by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Alkali Baba.

To enhance smooth operations, the IGP earlier approved the promotion of some officers nationwide.
Public Relations Officer of Zone 10, DSP Adamu Abbas, in a statement, said the AIG Zone 10 decorated about 15 senior officers who were promoted.

“Th Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 10 Headquarters Sokoto AIG Bello Sani DALIJAN psc (+), while decorating the newly promoted officers, congratulated them and charged them to live up to the tasking responsibilities of their new ranks.

“The AIG Zone 10 Headquarters Bello Sani DALIJAN psc (+) was assisted by the DC Operations Decompol Maxwell Olatokunbo, Acpol DFA Zone 10 Acp Ibrahim Bawa psc, Acpol Ops Zone 10 Acp J.H Anga and all other senior officers of the Zone in decorating the newly promoted officers.

“About Fifteen (15) officers were decorated with their new ranks: 3 Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), 1 Confirmed Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP 1), 11 Inspectors promoted to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP 11).

“Those decorated include: DSP ADAMU ABBAS the Zone 10 Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abubakar Jimo, Admin Officer SPU Base 10, and DSP Aliyu Wasagu,” said the spokesperson.

In his vote of thanks, Zone 10 PPRO on behalf of the newly promoted officers thanked the Inspector General Police (IGP) for approving their promotion. He equally thanked the AIG Zone 10 Headquarters and members of his management team for the wonderful decoration ceremony and advice.

He assured the Zonal Command and the Police that the newly promoted and decorated officers would to live up to their requisite responsibilities with regard to their new ranks.
