Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has approved projects totaling over ₦30 billion across various sectors including infrastructure, education, broadcasting, road construction, recreation, and human capital development.

The approval was given at the 15th State Executive Council meeting held at the Government House and chaired by the governor.

After the meeting, the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, James Iliya, informed reporters that the council allocated ₦21.8 billion for additional work on the Adamawa Super Highway, which runs from Welcome to Yola via Rumde Kila to AA Lawal Junction.

Additionally, ₦2.4 billion was approved for the construction of internal roads at the Army Barracks.

The council also sanctioned ₦184.2 million for the renovation of studio facilities and the installation of new FM and AM transmitters at the Adamawa Broadcasting Corporation in Yola, including the Mambamba booster station.

In the education sector, ₦4.5 billion was approved for overseas scholarships for 100 postgraduate students, along with ₦395 million for the procurement of various science textbooks for junior and senior secondary schools throughout the state.
