The youngest daughter of Bill and Melinda Gates, Phoebe Gates, has ended her relationship with the grandson of Beatles star Paul McCartney, Arthur Donald..
The two were first rumored to be dating in October 2023 when Phoebe posted a photo of them together in Paris.
They were seen together at various events, including The Albies, where Phoebe was with her mother, Melinda Gates.
In a graduation diary entry for Nylon last June, Phoebe openly called Arthur her boyfriend, making their romance public.
Recently, on an episode of The Burnouts podcast, which she co-hosts with Sophia Kianni, Phoebe hinted that she has moved on to someone new.
Without revealing his name, she mentioned that this new person is very different from her ex-boyfriend.
“He literally doesn’t have Instagram. It’s amazing. It’s the best thing ever. It’s completely new for me because I’ve never been with someone like this,” she said.
Although she didn’t share the new guy’s identity, Phoebe joked about how he helps her with her work on Phia, her fashion shopping project.

She humorously explained that she shows him her work, playfully saying, “I’m like, ‘Okay, sit down, bud. Let me show you the new video… because I put a lot of effort into producing this thing.'”
While her romance with Arthur may have been short-lived, it certainly caught attention.
There were quirky stories about Arthur not liking her pink cassette tape art and his frequent flights from California to New York just to spend time with her.
Arthur, the son of Mary McCartney and Alistair Donald, had also been linked to Ava Phillippe, the daughter of Reese Witherspoon.
Phoebe herself previously dated a Stanford graduate named Robert Ross.
Now, with her new boyfriend, Phoebe seems keen on exploring a relationship that’s less about social media drama and more about enjoying good times, laughter, and new beginnings.
