Newcastle United has finalized the signing of striker Nick Woltemade from Stuttgart for a club record fee of £69 million.
The 23-year-old Germany international, who stands at 6 feet 6 inches (1.98m), has joined Newcastle on a “long-term” contract.

This transfer surpasses the previous record of £63 million that Newcastle paid for Alexander Isak three years ago.
Woltemade, who will wear the number 27 jersey, will not be registered in time to play against Leeds United on Saturday.
