Rivers State Police have arrested four men suspected to be part of a gang involved in robbery and kidnapping.
The police spokesperson, SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed the news during a press conference in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.
She explained that the suspects were caught after the police received a distress call about suspicious activities in their area.
The four suspects, aged between 26 and 33, were arrested on August 8 on Nkpee Street in Bori Local Government Area while they were reportedly engaged in questionable behavior.
During the arrest, police found several items with the suspects, including a homemade gun, a live bullet, and some illegal drugs. They also recovered a gray Toyota Sienna van.

Iringe-Koko stated that the suspects are currently in police custody, and investigations are underway to track down any remaining members of their gang and to find additional weapons they might have.
She reassured the public that the police are dedicated to keeping everyone safe and encouraged people to continue reporting any suspicious activities to law enforcement.
