A catastrophic flood has completely destroyed a village in India, leaving 50 individuals unaccounted for, with the destruction captured on video.
In alarming video footage from Tuesday, floodwaters are seen rushing down the mountains in Dharali, Uttarakhand, sweeping through a narrow valley and dislodging rocks and trees, accompanied by the haunting cries of onlookers filming from a distance.
The scene was horrifying as debris and mud surged through the area, completely demolishing homes and overwhelming people trying to escape on foot and in vehicles.
