The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State has commended Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited for its role in curbing oil theft and creating employment opportunities for youths across the Niger Delta.
In a statement issued on Saturday by the party’s state Publicity Secretary, Valentine Onojeghuo, on behalf of the state Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, the APC described the efforts of Tantita Security, led by High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (alias Tompolo), as “exceptional and patriotic.”
The party credited Tantita’s operations with significantly reducing crude oil theft through strategic surveillance, intelligence gathering, and community engagement.
It noted that the company’s work has helped secure critical oil infrastructure and improve Nigeria’s daily crude output, key achievements amid the country’s drive for increased revenue and economic stability.
“The dedication and professionalism of Tantita Security align seamlessly with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritizes national security, economic revitalization, and infrastructural development,” the statement read.
The party also highlighted the synergy between Tantita’s operations and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E. Agenda, especially in promoting peace and inclusive development across the state.
The party further praised Tantita for its employment of thousands of Niger Delta youths in security and surveillance roles, noting that the initiative has reduced social vices such as youth restiveness, militancy, and cultism.
It said the jobs have positively impacted local economies as workers’ earnings are spent within their communities.
“These youths are now equipped with practical skills in surveillance, intelligence gathering, marine operations, and community security, skills that will benefit them beyond their current roles,” the party stated.
The APC noted that improved security and reduced oil bunkering have enhanced federal and state revenues while restoring confidence in the region’s future.

It added that such progress strengthens public trust in political parties that champion the welfare of host communities.
Looking ahead to the 2027 general elections, the party said the visible impact of Tantita Security’s work could enhance voter confidence in the APC’s capacity to deliver on security and economic growth promises.
The APC urged traditional rulers, youth groups, private sector stakeholders, and security agencies to continue supporting Tantita’s operations, emphasizing that safeguarding national assets requires collective effort.
“Delta State APC remains committed to working with individuals and organizations focused on Nigeria’s peace, prosperity, and progress,” the statement added.
“We are determined to secure victory for President Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori, and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.”
